Hupu, August 29th, Laliga has reported to the Spanish National Police that Vinicius Junior and Killian Mbappe were suspected of being attacked by racist slogans during Real Madrid's match at the Real Oviedo Stadium earlier this month.
It is said that during the La Liga match on August 24, fans issued racist slogans against Vinicius Junior and Killian Mbappe at the Carlostaertiere Stadium in Oviedo. Laliga reported that slogans imitating monkeys were heard on the scene many times.
Laliga has filed a complaint with the Spanish National Police, including evidence of televised broadcasts from Movistar TV's TV show "ElDiaDespues" and video clips widely circulated on social media.
Oviedo Club Chairman Martin Pelles said earlier this week: "In view of the alleged racist behavior that occurred last Sunday, I want to tell you that the Real Oviedo Club condemns any racism, machismo and discrimination.
"We are already investigating the experience of our security personnel and if there is any evidence that such an incident has occurred, you can be sure that we will punish and we will stop it."
"This kind of thing can't happen here or anywhere else."
Real Madrid won the game 3-0 with Mbappe's brace and Vinicius's goal.
Vinitius has been subject to racial attacks on several stadiums and social media platforms in Spain.
