Liverpool and Leverkusen have been negotiating for several weeks on Wilz, and the negotiations are coming to an end. On Friday local time, Liverpool submitted a third official offer of £100 million plus a floating clause of £13 million, but this is still lower than Leverkusen's asking price.
Since the negotiations between the two sides, Leverkusen insisted on asking for a price of 126.4 million pounds. It now seems that the two sides may be able to finally reach a compromise on the transfer fee.
Leverkusen is expected to receive the fourth offer to Wilz in the next 24 hours, the transfer will be sold for £118 million. Liverpool has made it clear that it will not bid 126 million pounds, and Leverkusen will not over-raising prices.
Leverkusen knows that Wiltz wants to transfer to Liverpool, and they now also need to sell the players and cash them out. Given that Liverpool's offer at the initial stage of the negotiations was 85 million pounds, Leverkusen would still be happy with the deal if the negotiations finally reached an agreement.
