Manchester City previously officially announced that first-team assistant coaches Leo, Inigor Dominguez and Carlos Bissen have left the coaching staff. Transfer news reporter Romano revealed that Klopp's former deputy, 42-year-old Dutchman Linders, is about to join Guardiola's coaching staff. Linders served as Liverpool assistant coach from 2018 to 2024. With Klopp leaving the team last summer, Linders "flew solo" and served as the head coach of Red Bull Salzburg, but was dismissed in December last year. In addition, Kloe Toure, a celebrity who joined the Manchester City youth team's coaching staff last summer, is also expected to become Manchester City's first-team assistant coach.
