Guardian: Chelsea is trying to convince Leipzig to exchange Nkunku + cash for Simmons

Hupu, August 10th, famous Guardian reporter Ed Aarons confirmed Leipzig's report that Chelsea is negotiating with RB Leipzig about a potential swap agreement for Xavi Simmons, a deal that could bring Christopher Nkunku back to the German club.

Leipzig may be interested in re-signing Nkunku after Sheshko leaves the team.

Chelsea has been negotiating with the Bundesliga club on Xavi Simmons' transfer fee, and although Bayern Munich is interested in him, the Dutch striker has agreed to the personal terms. Negotiations are still in progress, and Chelsea may need to pay a considerable additional transfer fee for the 22-year-old who can compete for multiple offensive positions. Leipzig is also interested in signing Liverpool's Xavi Elliott, and many Premier League clubs are also interested in him.

Chelsea is still in talks with Manchester United for a transfer of Alejandro Garnacho and hopes to sell Nicholas Jackson to help balance income and expenditure.
