Golden Boy Awards announces 25 nominees: Bellin is a wild card nominee

"Turin Sports News" announced the 25-candidate list for the 2025 European Golden Boy Award. There are 20 people on the regular candidate list, and another 5 people are shortlisted as "wild cards". The wild card mechanism was introduced in recent years to avoid missing potential new stars, so a special "supplementary list" was set up, and Bellingham's brother Job was shortlisted.

The European Golden Boy Award was created in 2003 to recognize players aged 21 and under who have performed most outstandingly in Europe's top leagues. The participating judges can nominate 5 players. The first place is worth 10 points, the second place is 7 points, the third place is 5 points, the fourth place is 3 points, and the fifth place is 1 point.
