Ekitic: Idols Benzema and Neymar; the requirements for the Premier League and Bundesliga are completely different

"I think this game is good. I could have done better, but the most important thing tonight is the victory and the mental outlook we showed.

Where do you think you can improve?

"I have a lot to improve. I did my best to help the team, and I have a lot to do. I think I will be better and contribute more to this team."

Talking about his role model growing up:

"In my growth, there were two players, Neymar and Kareem Benzema, their role model.

The most important thing is that I love Benzema, and the contribution he has made to football is my role model."

Talking about Arne Slot's requirements for him:

"I changed the way I played in the Premier League. The football style here is completely different and the intensity is higher. The defenders here are stronger and the space is more compact.

I have more space in Germany. That's why I try to chase back, connect, push, and run behind.
