May 27th, on Alonso's first day as Real Madrid coach, he walked into the Real Madrid youth training camp locker room in Valdebebas to meet his new players.

The first one to shake hands was Jacob Ramon, followed by cutting the horse. The two tall players are now members of Castia and have made their debut in the first team. Seven years later, the three gathered again, with Alonso as Real Madrid head coach, while Jacob and Chema are expected to enter the first team roster for the 2025/26 season.

There are also two players who are currently making their mark in Castia - Eusse and Hugo. Eusse may have received offers from other clubs due to overstaffing at the left back position, while Hugo is an all-around midfielder who has played in Youth A, Real Madrid C and Castia this season.

Cheek is probably one of the most promising players to make the final first team roster, and in the midfield position he can offer a variety of solutions, especially when performing well in the back midfield position. His performance at Castia has been recognized, and Ancelotti has also given him several chances in the league and the Copa del Rey.

Now is a critical moment for Chema, and he has the opportunity to be a member of the first team. If Jacob Ramon can overcome what Ancelotti calls "shyness", he will also have a chance to compete with another youth player, Joan Martinez.

However, the best youth training player when Alonso was first coaching was Ikel Gill (now 20). He scored 120 goals in his two and a half seasons after joining Real Madrid, becoming the star striker of Valdebebas.

Under Alonso's men, Jill scored 53 goals in one season. Unfortunately, his career was affected by his cruciate ligament injury while captaining the U17 national team two years later.

Despite this, he still has a contract with Real Madrid and made his Spanish Second Division debut for Huesca during loan. He plays in Aijia this season, and next he will return to Valdebebas, perhaps with his second collaboration with Alonso.
