Real Madrid coach Ancelotti insists that he can coach any club in the world after Xavi Alonso confirmed to leave Leverkusen.

It was reported on Friday that Alonso will leave Leverkusen's head coach this summer, just hours after news that Espanyol agreed to sign a three-year contract with Real Madrid. The two clubs have agreed on the fee between €5m-€10m (£4.2m-£8.5m). The final details of Ancelotti's departure this summer have not been finalized, but are seen as just a form, with Alonso replacing his former Bayern Munich coach at the Bernabeu after the Club World Cup.

"I heard he was leaving Leverkusen," Ancelotti said of Alonso. "He did a great job and the door was open to him because he has proven to be one of the best coaches in the world." Although his time around Ancelotti at Real Madrid has become increasingly negative, the coach reiterated his love for the La Liga team and he warned Alonso with a passionate warning. "If he (Alonso) represents Real Madrid more than anyone else, I don't know," Ancelotti continued. "Real Madrid is a special club, and everyone who needs to work here has a special attitude: players, coaches, staff.

" With this club, the honeymoon will never end. Real Madrid, like Milan before, is the club that stays in my heart during this time and in my relationship. “When the stress drops, the relationship goes up. The honeymoon with Madrid will last until the last day of my life.
