A crazy offensive battle: Paris beat Leverkusen 7-2
In the early morning of October 22, a jaw-dropping goal feast was staged in the Champions League. Paris Saint-Germain beat Bayer Leverkusen 7-2 in an away game. A total of 9 goals were scored in the game, accompanied by two red cards. It was a crazy showdown.

In the first half, an incredible plot was staged: 5 goals, 1 missed penalty kick, and one player from each team was sent off. All the dramatic elements broke out in a concentrated manner, making the fans hooked.
Paris Saint-Germain, playing away from home, quickly took the initiative and broke through Leverkusen's dense defense in just 7 minutes. Nuno Mendes passed from the left, and William Pacho overpowered the defender and scored with a powerful header. This was also the Colombian central defender's first goal after joining Paris.
After conceding the goal, Leverkusen launched a fierce counterattack. In the 25th minute, the team got a good chance for a penalty kick, but left back Grimaldo's shot went over the crossbar and missed the perfect opportunity to equalize the score.

Just 7 minutes later, the Bundesliga team suffered another blow. Midfielder Robert Andric pulled Diesel Douai's face in defense and was directly sent off by the referee with a red card. Leverkusen was forced to fight with 10 men.
However, Paris' joy did not last long. In the 38th minute, Ukrainian defender Zabarny committed a handball foul in the penalty area. Not only was he ejected with a red card, but he also gave his opponent a penalty kick. Alex Garcia made a free throw to level the score at 1-1 for Leverkusen.
Although both teams were playing with one less player, the pace of the game did not slow down at all. In the 41st minute, Paris launched a smooth counterattack from its own half. Douai dribbled the ball into the penalty area and then calmly pushed the shot into the far corner to help the team take the lead again.

After that, Leverkusen's defense completely collapsed. In the 44th minute, Kvaratskhelia seized the opportunity and scored; in the 3rd minute of stoppage time, Douai scored another goal to complete his brace. At the end of the first half, Paris actually led 4-1 and entered the locker room with a three-goal advantage.
In the second half, Paris’ offensive frenzy continued. Nuno Mendes, Ousmane Dembele and Vitinha scored consecutively, expanding the score to 7-1. Although Garcia scored another goal in the 54th minute to save some face for Leverkusen, there was no way back.
In the end, Paris Saint-Germain won the away game 7-2, winning three consecutive Champions League victories, leading the group with 9 points and a goal difference of 10. Leverkusen suffered a heavy blow, accumulating only 2 points in three rounds and falling to 27th among the 36 participating teams.
