On June 17, in the latest trailer of the "Brain of the Field" podcast, Lakers star James answered a question from the fans, and he admitted that he would never become a coach. Of course, the coach referred to here is the coach of the NBA team. James once played a guest appearance in the team where his son was.

Nash reposted the fans' questions: "'LeBron, if you become a coach, which team would you coach?' Let me pause here, I want to say, don't be a coach."

James responded: "Haha, guys, it's impossible, it's impossible. Alfonso Taylor (the fan who asked this question), thank you for your kindness, but that thing won't happen. No team (will be coached by me)."

Nash said: "The possibility is zero." James also confirmed again: "The possibility is zero."

James is currently the small boss of many teams in other leagues, involving baseball, ice hockey, football and other fields, but he is not the owner of NBA teams at the moment. James has always regarded owning an NBA team as his goal, and has mentioned this matter many times before. Some investment bankers said that if James retires tomorrow, he may form a group with enough capital to acquire NBA teams.

In addition to James, stars such as Curry and Paul also expressed similar intentions. As for being a coach, none of them have similar ideas. One understandable reason is that when these stars go through careers, they sacrifice a lot of time to spend with their families, and they hope to have more time to spend with their families after retirement. Compared to becoming a coach, you will obviously have more personal time as a team boss.

According to Forbes data, James' personal net worth has exceeded $1.2 billion, but the current valuation of NBA teams is also rising. As bankers said before, James expects to need to form a group with enough capital to acquire NBA teams.
