September 26th, Celtics star Tatum was interviewed by Sports Illustrated reporter Chris Mannix and talked about his teammates who left the team and his upcoming Warriors Horford.
"We didn't take it for granted to be teammates. We won the championship in the first year," Tatum said. "We played together on an incredible team. We were still thinking, 'How many championships can we win in the next four or five years', and everything changed. It was a pity, but it wasn't anyone's fault. Just like Porzingis and I only worked with Holiday for two years. And Horford - I thought I would be teammates with him until he retired - is leaving now."
