August 16: Shin Kyung's Turkish national teammate Sean Larkin talked about the Rockets' lineup construction in an interview today.
Larkin praised the pair Shin Kyung and Durant, saying: "They will be very difficult to deal with on defense. Durant is one of the top scorers over 2.13 meters (actually 2.11 meters), which makes it difficult for opponents to double-team Shin Kyung too much in the interior. Shin Kyung can work hand-to-hand with KD to create continuous misalignment opportunities. The team has built a strong lineup around them, and smart players like Van Vritte. Even with Durant, they are still young and can make a difference in the Western Conference in the next 4 to 5 years."
Larkin is a naturalized player in Turkey, the 18th pick in the first round of the NBA in 2013, and has played for the Knicks and the Nets.
