After defeating the Kings in an away game yesterday, the Lakers returned to their home court to face the Trail Blazers back-to-back today, eventually losing to the Trail Blazers 108-122. The Lakers are currently experiencing a wave of injuries. Not only are the two core members Doncic and James recovering from injuries, but many rotation players are also missing, so only seven players with official contracts can play today.

Reeves continued his hot touch today. Knecht performed poorly. He played 24 minutes, making 5 of 13 shots, 2 of 8 three-pointers, 4 of 4 free throws, and scored 16 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 steals. Brownie got a lot of opportunities to perform, but his performance was average. He played 20 minutes as a substitute, made 0 of 2 shots, did not score, only had 3 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, 1 block, and made 3 turnovers.

For the Trail Blazers, 5 players on the team scored in double figures, 3 of whom scored 20+. Avdija played steadily and started for 32 minutes. Klingen was very impressive. He started for 26 minutes, made 8 of 12 shots, scored 16 points and 14 rebounds, including 7 offensive rebounds, with a plus-minus value of +21, tied for the highest in the game. Sharp's performance was average and his efficiency was not high. He played 29 minutes and made 6 of 16 shots, 0 of 6 three-pointers, 4 of 4 free throws, 16 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 4 steals, and 5 turnovers.

Chinese player Yang Hansen did not perform well. He got two chances to play in the first half and appeared again in the last minute of garbage time. He played 8 minutes and 36 seconds in the whole game. He made 0 of 3 shots, 0 of 2 three-pointers, 1 of 2 free throws, only scored 1 point and 1 rebound, and made 1 turnover.
