May 25th Basketball commentator Perkins was recently interviewed, during which he talked about how the Thunder were different when he played.
Perkins believes that in the era of Durant, Westbrook and Harden, some players play with personal purposes, while today's teams are more united, and the players support each other to form a better team. "It's hard to find a group of young players who can really play selflessly because many young people are eager for personal honors early in their careers. But in this young team, what I'm seeing is a team that is united and proud of each other, even in difficult times."
"First is substitute center Jaylin Williams, who has no playing time in the current series despite his appearances against the Nuggets, and yet he's still actively involved and cheers on his teammates from the bench. Another example is three-point shooter Isaiah Joe, who didn't play against the Nuggets but has a chance to play in the current series. The players are happy with each other's success, which is what makes this team different," Perkins added.
