May 4th, in the first round of the NBA playoffs, the Clippers lost to the Nuggets 101-120 and were eliminated.
After the game, Leonard was interviewed about Popovich's resignation as Spurs head coach.
"Bobo has a brilliant career, and he coached until he could hardly coach. This shows his persistence in the game, his love for the game, and his great efforts for the game. I am grateful for everything he did for me."
Leonard played 33 minutes and 14 seconds in the game, made 6 of 13 shots (2 of 4 three-pointers), 8 of 9 free throws, scored 22 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocks.
