Jordan will serve as NBA commentator on TV

Reference News Network reported on May 14, according to the Associated Press on May 12, basketball star Michael Jordan will join the NBC Sports Reporting team and serve as a special commentator for the company's NBA event coverage in the 2025-2026 season.
National Broadcasting Corporation announced the news on the morning of the 12th. This is Jordan's first time joining a TV station.
Jordan said in a video: "I'm glad to see the NBA return to NBA."
He said: "The years NBA broadcast the NBA event were an important part of my career, and I'm glad to be a special commentator for the program. I look forward to meeting you in the broadcast in October this year."
After 23 years, NBC has finally regained the rights to broadcast the NBA event. NBC once had the right to broadcast NBA events from 1990 to 2002, broadcasting the wonderful moments of Jordan winning all six career championships with the Chicago Bulls. "Michael's contribution on and off the court is self-evident. We are extremely proud to be part of our reporting team," said Rick Coldella, president of NBC Sports.
