Interesting, Thunder fans are ready to exchange Jaylen Williams for Antetokounmpo for the Bucks

Oklahoma City Thunder fans are willing to replace All-Star forward Jaylen Williams due to poor performance in the playoffs. In Game 6 of the Denver Nuggets 107-119 away, Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shay Gilgers-Alexander scored 32 points. Unfortunately, Jaylen Williams failed to fight alongside the MVP candidate. The All-Star forward shot less than 20% from the field and did not make a 3-pointer.

Head coach Mark Dignot believes Williams won't have any bad performance in Game 7.

In the 2025 playoffs, Williams performed well in statistics. The 24-year-old averaged 19.2 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.6 assists in 10 games. However, his statistics were down from the regular season. Oklahoma City can no longer play in the best form in the series against Nikola Jokic and the experienced Nuggets.

After Williams' poor performance in Game 6, Thunder fans left messages on X saying they were ready to let the team give up on Williams. Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the potential traders.

One fan wrote: "If Jaylen Williams did not perform well in Game 7, resulting in our loss, then he would have to be traded for Giannis before the start of next season."

"Jellen Williams had no idea that he would be involved in the Giannis deal with the Thunder," another fan said.

"Jeren Williams scored only 6 points in 38 minutes. I begged the Thunder to exchange him and Chet for Giannis," a fan begged. "Anyway, they are not worthy of signing a maximum salary contract. SGA and Giannis are simply the plot in the movie."

"If Jaylen Williams is as bad as you think, how do you expect to trade him for Giannis?" asked another fan.

The Thunder also has another chance to advance to the Western Conference Finals on Sunday afternoon. They will play Game 7 at home, but their opponent is Jokic, the best player in the league. Gilgers Alexander needs his teammates to perform well in order to lead Oklahoma City to continue moving forward.

If the Thunder are eliminated in the second round for two consecutive seasons, general manager Sam Presti will face pressure. The team has everything they need to chase the star, even if it means sending Williams away.
