Insider: Antetokounmpo of the Bucks has not yet proposed to break up, the Mavericks and the Warriors are the ideal next home

The Bucks may trade Giannis in the offseason, and there are several teams worth paying attention to when it comes to trading locations.

One of the biggest topics this year's NBA offseason will be the potential deal between Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks. At the end of the season, trading rumors began to heat up, and after a quick playoff elimination, the rumors became even more intense. For the Milwaukee Bucks, the Giannis era seems to be coming to an end, but everything is not yet settled. At present, Giannis is still exploring.

"For fairness, Giannis Antetokounmpo, we hereby reiterate a key detail: He has not yet offered to break up," said Sam Amick of The Athletic. "Affiliate sources said he has been exploring the situation, discussing his situation with trusted close friends, and making it clear that he is observing the situation on the field. This is not a situation of 'one foot and two ships'. At least not yet."

Giannis Antetokounmpo has also faced some uncertainty in the past, but this time it feels different. The ball is in his hands.

"From my point of view, things have seemed to have become clear in the past few years," Amick continued. "Every time his future needs to be made, and related contract negotiations need to be held, Horst can make some move and actually make a decision for him. But this time, he has no chance." One thing that needs to be paid attention to now is the NBA draft draw on Monday night. After trading Luca Doncic, the Dallas Mavericks unexpectedly won the No. 1 pick with only 1.8%. The Mavericks can retain this draft pick, pick Duke star Cooper Flag, or they can try to get veteran superstars like Giannis with this draft pick.

"The Dallas Mavericks -- somehow -- got the No. 1 pick on Monday night, and now they may be able to consider using it for a player like Antetokounmpo," Amik added. "We have reported before that Mavericks general manager Nico Harrison, the mastermind of the Luka Doncic deal, is expected to enter the "win/defense-win championship/Nike-superstar" mode again this summer. Giannis meets all these conditions."

Another team worth watching is the Golden State Warriors. Giannis and Stephen Curry both belong to the same agency, and Giannis also attended the party that Curry held on the All-Star Weekend.

"Antetokounmpo has always been the Warriors' dream goal, and he showed up late at night at Curry's party in San Francisco this time on the All-Star Weekend," Amik said. "…It should be noted that Giannis and Stephen both belong to the same Octagon agency. Despite this, the event is still centered on the Warriors, with a significant and very important exception. Although the Golden State Warriors are currently in the quagmire of Jimmy Butler's era, the reality for players like Antetokounmpo is that his greatness may force owners and general managers of nearly every team in the league to adjust their plans."

Mavericks and Warriors seem to be the two ideal places for Giannis Antetokounmpo.
