Durant Jr.! Baba Oradoton, No. 1 in the United States in 2027, announced his jump to the 2026 class

Baba Oladotun, the No. 1 player in the 2027 ESPN official website list, announced that he will skip to the 2026 class, was born in December 2008, from Baltimore, and will graduate from Blake High School in Maryland next spring. Although he was only 16 years old, Oladotun followed the footsteps of top high school players such as AJ Dybantsa and Cooper Flagg to choose to skip. Oladotun won't turn 17 until December, which is very similar to Flagg's timeline for skipping to the 2024 class.

His father Ibrahim Oladotun played at Virginia Tech, and his recruitment will also be strengthened with Oladoton's skip, with teams including Arkansas, Maryland, Virginia Tech, Kansas, Kentucky, Duke and Gonzaga University actively participating.
