Butler: Van Vreet s quarter-pointer did turn the situation around, but that s not the reason we lost

Warriors lost to the Rockets 107-115 today, and were dragged into the 7th in the series. After the game, Butler accepted an interview. Xiaoba compiled some of his interview content, as follows:

Reporter: For me, both Cole and Zhumeng said that the four-point score (3+1) really changed the trend of the game. Do you feel that moment is disheartening when you are on the court?

Butler: Yes. Whenever we fight in chaos, without organization, and without a match, it will really make people feel discouraged. That goal did turn the situation around, but that wasn't the real reason for our loss.

Reporter: Then what do you think is the real reason?

Butler: We must fight those five-fifth goals to better protect the rebounds. This is the theme of this whole series. The ball is in their hands. You also missed 14 of the top 15 shots, all of which were open.

Reporter: What makes your rhythm lengthen on the offensive end?

Butler: I feel quite frustrated. Some will improve. We just need to make the right choice again and again. If someone has a free space, give him the ball and create opportunities for others. Then once you get into the rhythm of the game, you can find the feeling.
