May 14th, in the second round of the Western Conference, the Warriors lost to the Timberwolves 110-117 away, and fell behind 1-3 in the score.
In this game, Curry is still absent due to a hamstring injury. TimberwolvesLead posted a post about Curry, the full text is as follows:
I have always seen fans saying that Curry needs to come back as soon as possible to help the Warriors.
Whether I'm a Timberwolves fan or not, I don't think this is the right choice.
Warriors fans must still remember the scene when Kevin Durant made a hasty comeback against the Raptors in the finals with a calf injury. The Warriors were behind 1-3 at the time, and Durant tore the Achilles tendon of the same leg in two quarters after his return.
Curry's injury is indeed very tricky. But I sincerely hope they don't rush to get him back so as not to repeat the same mistakes, especially when he was 37 years old.
G5 in the 2019 Finals (at the time the Warriors were behind the Raptors 1-3), Durant returned with an injury and eventually tore off the Achilles tendon. The Warriors also lost to the Raptors 2-4 and missed the three consecutive championships.
