Tate: I always wanted to stay with the Rockets. No matter what the team needs me to do, I can do it.

October 11th Rockets player Tate said in an interview with the "Houston Chronicle" this week that although his specific role this season is still uncertain, he will obey the team's arrangements and take on any required tasks.

"I consider myself a well-rounded player. No matter what the team needs me to do, I can do it. Whether it's advancing the fast break, stretching the space in the corner, guarding the opponent's core players, or playing in a small lineup. It doesn't matter. The coach will put me in a position where he thinks I can make a difference, and I will do my best to do it well." Tate said.

Although Tate could have become a completely free agent this offseason and joined another team that could provide more playing time, he said that he had paid a lot for the Rockets before, so he hoped to stay with the team.
