June 17, June 17, Lakers star LeBron James was interviewed by the Associated Press.
When talking about the topic of when he retired, James said he knew his legendary career was about to end, but he was not sure about the specific time. He said that it would be very "crazy" if he could persist until he competed with his second son Bryce.
"At this stage of my career, you will start thinking about when to retire. This is normal. You will wonder, this year or next? These thoughts will always come up quietly on this journey. But I haven't set a specific schedule or date for myself. I'm also observing my body and family's reactions," James said.
The new season will be the 23rd season of James's career, and his second son Bryce (just celebrated his 18th birthday) will play for the University of Arizona in the new season, and he will qualify for the NBA draft in 2026.
