Danny Green: We had a system when Duncan was absent, but the system was different when James was absent.

October 16th Today, former NBA player Danny Green talked about the injury of Lakers forward James on the SpectrumSportsNet Lakers preseason post-game show.

When asked about the difference between James' absence in his previous career and Duncan's absence in the Spurs or Leonard's absence in the Raptors, Green said: "But the team system is very different. The Spurs' system was born to deal with this situation. Without LeBron, the system is very different. As Harden said, he is the system. In the Spurs, each of us is in the same place. It's the same with the Raptors. So if Kawhi or Tim or Tony (Parker) is out, it's easy for players like Mills or myself to step up and play as a team, but when you're on LeBron James' team, it's a little different because everything is built around him."
