According to the exposure of the US media, the NBA Clippers have recently experienced frequent offseason unfair events. First, defender Bogdanovic was in a hamstring strain on behalf of the Serbian men's basketball national team in the European Championship, and he was unable to catch up with the preseason; just now, the Yin-Yang contract incident of core star Leonard occurred, which made the Clippers unrest and are still waiting for the league's investigation and handling.

Clippers forward Derek Jones was arbitrated by the US court and needed to be executed to pay a commission of $1.2 million for the previous broker. Derek Jones joined the Clippers for $30 million in three years and last year. Later, he directly terminated the contract with his former broker, but according to the law, he still needs to pay a 4% commission of $1.2 million to the broker.

Derek Jones plays as a forward and plays for the NBA Clippers in the 2024-2025 season. He plays in a total of 78 games in the regular season, including 58 starts, averaging 24.1 minutes per game, scoring 6.4 points + 3.4 rebounds + 2.8 assists + 1.7 steals (4th in the league) + 0.4 blocks, shooting percentage of 43.0%, three-point shooting percentage of 33.0%, and free throw shooting percentage of 68.0%. Derek Jones is good at defense, but the offensive end is a bit weak. The new Clippers' new player John Collins joins as the starting striker in the new season. It is certain that Derek Jones will completely enter the substitute lineup.
